Background

Permatrim^TM was designed and developed by Maurice Ellis of Whangarei some 15 years ago. A good product can stand the test of time - many clients buy a new Permatrim^TM every time they update their boat. Permatrim^TM is made in New Zealand and patented in New Zealand, Australia and USA.

Eliminate Cavitation Problems

By increasing the size of the factory cavitation plate, by up to four times. Permatrim^TM reduces the chance for the propeller to create an air pocket - the cause of cavitation.

Improves fuel economy

Because boats fitted with a Permatrim^TM have more lift in the stern, the hull performs more efficiently when on the plane, as well as being able to plane at lower speeds. More efficiency must result in fuel savings.

Improve Rough Water Handling

A Permatrim^TM enables alot more control of trim angles and the ability to eliminate porpoising, to plane at a lower speed.

Gets boats onto the plane faster

By forcing the water the propeller normally throws out the top, downwards and rearward, Permatrim^TM gives more thrust and lift.

Lowers planing speed

By having more lift, a Permatrim^TM enables boats to stay on the plane at lower speeds.

There are 19 models of Permatrim^TM - to fit every motor style and size. Pricing ranges from $80.00 (inc. GST) for the smaller motors graduating up to NZ$240.00 (inc. GST) for the large sternleg motors. All orders have a small delivery charge added to this cost. Delivery - within 2 days within New Zealand.
